PMVA Training
PMVA Training
GM Elite Services provides PMVA (Prevention and Management of Violence and Aggression) training for carers and nurses in the UK, which is delivered in a classroom setting. The training is designed to equip carers and nurses with the necessary knowledge and skills to prevent and manage incidents of violence and aggression in the workplace, particularly in healthcare settings.
The PMVA training covers a range of topics, including risk assessment, communication skills, de-escalation techniques, and physical interventions. The course is delivered by experienced trainers who have a deep understanding of the challenges faced by carers and nurses in their line of work.
Throughout the training, participants will learn how to identify the warning signs of potential violent or aggressive behavior, how to communicate effectively to defuse tense situations, and how to use physical interventions safely and appropriately when necessary. The course is designed to ensure that participants are able to respond confidently and effectively to incidents of violence and aggression, while also minimizing the risk of harm to themselves and others.
By the end of the PMVA training, carers and nurses will have gained a comprehensive understanding of the principles of prevention and management of violence and aggression in the workplace. They will be better equipped to provide a safe and secure environment for themselves and their patients, and will be able to respond effectively to any incidents that may arise.
